| Allowance | Maximum size | Maximum weight | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free carry-on | 40 × 30 × 20 cm | 10 kg | Under the seat |
| Priority trolley bag | 55 × 40 × 23 cm | 10 kg | Overhead compartment |
The wheel detail matters
Wizz Air’s source says the size allowance excludes handles and wheels, while wheels may add no more than 5 cm. Because this wording is more specific than a simple three-number box, check the official diagram when your wheels protrude.
WIZZ Priority
The larger trolley bag requires WIZZ Priority or an eligible bundle. Priority allows two pieces on board: the free carry-on plus the trolley bag.
Close to the maximum?
Use a physical tape measure. Include the actual packed shape, not the manufacturer’s optimistic label. Airport staff make the final decision.
